Hayden Edwards
Bio
Hayden Edwards is currently in his first season as the pitching coach at Volunteer State Community College. Edwards spent the previous 2 years as the Director of Pitching Development/Director of Operations at Belmont University in Nashville.  Prior to Belmont, he spent 3 years as the pitching coach and assistant coach at 2 Memphis-area high schools, Arlington High School and Fayette Academy. At these 2 high schools, Edwards coached several pitchers and position players who have since signed to play college baseball at different levels.  Edwards helped Fayette Academy improve its ERA from 8.86 to 5.05 in his first year as pitching coach in 2023. He has helped run kids' camps and showcases at each of his stops.
 
Prior to his coaching career, Edwards pitched at Bethel University from 2017-2019, where he made the All-Conference Freshman Team in 2017 and earned 2 All-Conference Academic awards. Following his 3 years at Bethel, Edwards transferred to Christian Brothers University, where he finished his career as a closer.
