Pioneers Defeat Motlow State 92-82
Vol State defeated a good Motlow State team with a strong finish at the foul line as Peyton West hit 6 of 7 down the stretch! He also had 8 assists, 6 rebounds and finished with 18 points. Kailon-Benton Hamilton came off the bench and hit 4 of 5 from the 3-point line finishing with 14 points. Kaden Paul hit 3 of 4 from the foul line down the stretch finishing with 9 points. Brennon Marsh, playing with a fractured nose, had 10 points and 14 rebounds; it was his third double-double of the season. He also made 6-6 from the foul line. Terrance Cross scored 10 points with 5 rebounds. Davion Moses, getting his first start, scored 12 points and gathered 6 rebounds. Jaylan Clemmons scored 7 points, hitting 3 of 4 from the foul line in the second half. Aarin Strother had 2 points.
