Vol State Defeated by Cleveland State 70-60

Vol State was defeated by Cleveland State on Saturday, January 22.  Cleveland State hit a 50 ft. 3 pt shot at the buzzer to defeat Vol State 67-64 in their first meeting on November 13.  The Pioneers had their worst night at the foul line hitting only 7-13 and 7-27 on 3 pt attempts.  Down 18-39 at the half, Vol State cut into the lead to get it down to 4 before Cleveland State made 5 consecutive foul shots.

Jaylan Clemmons led Vol State with 22 pts including 5 threes.  Terrance Cross had 12 pts and Peyton West 10.
