Pioneers Fall to Number One Ranked Team in the State

The Pioneers were defeated 71-57 by Dyersburg State on Wednesday, January 26.  Vol State trailed again at the half 38-24 but rallied in the second half to cut the lead to 4 before Dyersburg State hit 2 threes to push their lead back to 10.

Peyton West scored 24 pts, 6-11 from three but the rest of the team was 1-21 from three.  Peyton also had 6 assists and 8 rebounds.  Terrance Cross scored 14 pts with 6 rebounds and Brennon Marsh had 12 rebounds and 3 blocks.
